What do you REALLY do?

I just read this appalling note in an ad for a financial planner somewhere in Australia.

Proven track record as a financial planner by Demonstrating excellent sales and customer service skills

Proven track record through... sales and customer service? What about creating wealth? What about producing millionaires, or through setting up people to be financially independent?

Their business seems to have more to do with continuous sales and revenues than it does with creating value for their clients. And they are distrusted ... why?

What do you REALLY do? Really... when the covers are off and no one is watching, could you have written this ad? And if so... how can you change that immediately!
