The End of the Boom/Bust cycle

I recall a lot of talk about 3 – 4 years ago from the heads of government in the USA, Europe and Australia talking about how they had “beaten the normal boom and bust cycles in a capitalist economy.

Gordon Brown, the UK’s current Prime Minister, was leading the charge.
